What’s Kelly reading?
Tiny Beautiful Things by Cheryl Strayed
This week I have Kelly Kingman joining in the call today to share her story of entrepreneurship in graphic recording.
In a world that’s becoming increasingly overcrowded, getting noticed has become like howling into the wind. Let’s not forget how easy it has become to get quickly overwhelmed from all the content you find.
This morning, for instance, I woke up at 4:45AM to get a jumpstart on some writing I’ve been meaning to finish for an e-book I have been writing for a long time.
When I opened the computer and signed on, a friend tweeted me a Lifehacker article and the next thing I know, it’s an hour later and I’ve ready twenty articles and am overwhelmed with all the information I took in. How much writing did I get done? None.
Kelly calls this the Information Overload Age.
And this is what her current work with KingmanInk revolves around: Helping speakers increase audience retention rates and helping you get your message out there in the world a whole lot easier.
For the budget-conscious start-up entrepreneur, check out http://visualbuzz101.com . Kelly put together a whole bunch of helpful videos and learning material so that you can create your own graphic recordings and help grow your business.
I’m really excited to share this interview with you, so let me know what you think by leaving a comment on the show or sending me a message at firstname.lastname@example.org.
